Babies and Bluebonnets

As much as I enjoy all this rain we've had, it doesn't lend itself to optimal portrait-taking conditions. Luckily, over the Easter weekend, the rain let up and I (with the help of a couple of assistants) managed to get the kids out for their obligatory Spring portraits in the bluebonnets. It also doesn't hurt that we did not have to go far to find bluebonnets, as we have a nice patch of them in our front yard. That, coupled with our neighbors' giant mountain laurel, made for a wonderful setting.

This session also marked the first time these two deigned to pose for their first professional portrait together. Only took 14 months to make that happen...
